Basic Information

Summary

α-Ethyltryptamine, originally developed by Upjohn as an MAOI antidepressant, this tryptamine is both psychedelic, stimulating and entactogenic. Related to α-MT, briefly popular as an RC in the 1980s but has seen limited use. Similar to αMT, αET is a serotonin releaser and may carry the risk of serotonin syndrome in overdose. Potentially neurotoxic.
