Summary
Sedative of the pipeidinedone family. Was used for treating insomnia, yet is rarely used today due to substances with fewer side effects, such as benzodiazepines.
Depressant
Depressants are drugs which reduce arousal and stimulation in the user, characterised by a depressing of mental and physical functions.
